U.S. Government Secretly Spread STDs

A new report has just been released that the U.S. government was involved in a study that secretly gave sexually transmitted diseases to over 5000 people in Guatemala between 1946 and 1948. The study was intended to test whether or not penicillin could prevent these std’s after sex. 1300 people were exposed to syphilis and gonorrhea. 83 people died during the study.
