A Philadelphia woman has been found safe after being abducted while walking home from her job as a nurse.
A surveillance camera captured the chilling incident which occurred at approximately 9:40 pm. The woman, identified as Carlesha Freeland-Gaither, was spotted by a witness being pushed into a car. She was heard yelling for help before being forced into the car. The witness reported that the woman kicked out both rear windows as the car pulled off.
After a 3-day ordeal, Freeland-Gaither was found in Jessup, Maryland.
The suspect has been identified as 37-year-old Delven Barnes. Barnes was taken into custody after tips from the public led police to the car that was used in the abduction.
Barnes is currently being held on on a Virginia warrant for attempted capital murder. The FBI plans to formally charge him with crimes related to the abduction in Philadelphia.
