A Boston high school teacher was suspended after school administrators found out that he had performed in gay porn videos.
Kevin Hogan, an English teacher and crew coach at Mystic Valley Regional Charter School, started working for the school at the beginning of the school year in 2011. School administrators were made aware of at least 3 pornographic movies that Hogan starred in that were released in the same year.
The Swedish Minister Of Culture is under fire after photos from a World Art Day party began to surface showing her cutting a cake designed to look like a tribal African woman complete with a torso, genetalia and a live human head decorated in blackface that protruded out of an opening in the table.
Lena Adelsohn Liljeroth was asked to kick off the party by performing a clitoridectomy on the cake. She then fed the cake to the performance artist whose head served as the head of the cake. The red velvet cake had a chocolate frosting and of course was red on the inside to symbolize blood.
Ironically, despite the racist undertones the cake symbolized, Liljeroth’s political position on racism is quite the opposite. She has publicly expressed her distaste for racism in the press and fought to keep newspapers from obtaining government subsidies who publish racist content. So far she has not commented on the cake.
Annette Larkins may have stumbled on to what many have searched for since the beginning of time.
The Miami resident, now in her 70′s, has found the fountain of youth right in her own backyard. Larkins says that her secret to looking as young as she does is simple: eat healthy. She has a garden in her backyard and eats nothing other than the food that she grows.
Erin Langworthy, 22, can certainly count her blessings after falling more than 300 feet from from the Victoria Falls Bridge.
Langworthy was making the plunge off the bridge that sits atop of the Zambezi River on the border of Zimbabwe and Zambia.
“It went black straight away and I felt like I’d been slapped all over.” Langworthy says of her fall into the crocodile-infested waters.
Luckily. Langworthy was able to swim to the river banks where she met rescuers. She spent a week in a South African hospital with a broken collar bone and bruising.
A new controversial vending machine has popped up on the campus of Shippensburg University in central Pennsylvania. This vending machine doesn’t house your ordinary snacks. Students can now get the “morning-after” pill for a mere $25 from the new vending machine installed at the request of the student government.
The machine itself is located at the Etter Health Center. In addition to the Plan B One Step emergency contraceptives they also provide condoms, decongestants and pregnancy tests.
Normally the pill is only allowed to be taken by those over the age of 17. The school has already checked its records and verified that all the students are at least 17.
For those that are concerned with what seems to be easy access to the pill, administrators insist that the machine is located in a private section of the health center and only students are allowed inside once they check in.
A 15-year-old Afghan girl has been hospitalized after enduring daily beatings and torture at the hands of her husband and her inlaws. The torture is said to have gone on for months before the girl’s family became involved and called police.
The girl was forced into marriage at 14 to a man twice her age. Police are still investigating why the girl suffered the abuse but it is believed her husband and mother-in-law wanted her to go into prostitution to help support the family. When she refused, the girl was locked in the basement and beaten. Her mother-in-law pulled out her hair and nails while the husband beat her.
The girl is now recovering in a local hospital.
An official in the Caddo parish is moving that pajama pants be banned in public after an incident at a local Walmart where one man in a group revealed himself while wearing pajamas.
Michael Williams, a commissioner in the parish, started the proposal for no pajamas in public. He was actually among the group of shoppers in Walmart that were flashed by the man in pajamas. Williams feels if people are allowed to wear pajamas in public then they might take it a step further and wear even more risque clothing in public. He is also suggesting that people who violate the ordinance be ordered to do community service.
Shreveport, which is inside the Caddo parish, already has an ordinance that bans sagging pants.
