A Boston high school teacher was suspended after school administrators found out that he had performed in gay porn videos.
Kevin Hogan, an English teacher and crew coach at Mystic Valley Regional Charter School, started working for the school at the beginning of the school year in 2011. School administrators were made aware of at least 3 pornographic movies that Hogan starred in that were released in the same year.
President Obama’s pro-gay rights foreign policy has gotten some backlash from Africa where the majority of Africa’s 54 nations ban homosexuality.
The President’s policy basically asked that all governments worldwide “ensure that US diplomacy and foreign assistance promote and protect the human rights of lesbian, gay, and transgender persons”. While this may go over well in some countries, most officials in Africa are completely against the new policy.
John Nagenda, a senior adviser to Uganda’s president Yoweri Museveni, spoke out about the new policy.
“Homosexuality here is taboo, it’s something anathema to Africans, and I can say that this idea of Clinton’s, of Obama’s, is something that will be seen as abhorrent in every country on the continent that I can think of.”
As we indicated earlier, most of Africa’s 54 countries ban homosexuality and the penalties for violating the law can be quite severe ranging from imprisonment to death.
