A Thai man desperate to get money to treat his kidney disease held a man hostage with a knife in the Nonthaburi province located on the outskirts of Bangkok. After police negotiators arrived, they were able to get the man to release his hostage after about 30 minutes. The man was then taken into custody without further incident.
A Greene County, VA boy was placed in police custody after the 5-year-old allegedly stabbed two children and one adult after a fight over a juice box.
Two women in Milwaukee have been charged with rape among other charges after police found a man bloody in the street near an apartment building. Police followed a blood trail to the apartment of Rebecca Chandler, whom police say met the victim online and invited him to her apartment for sex. According to the victim, he was held captive for nearly two days during which time Chandler and another female suspect raped the man and stabbed him more than 300 times. Chandler claims that the sex was consensual and that the stabbings started out as cutting but was also consensual and just got out of hand. Chandler also claims that the other suspect known only by her as “Scarlett” did most of the cutting and stabbing. Chandler believes that Scarlett, whom has only been her roommate for a few months, is part of the occult. Both women are being held without bond.
A 39 year-old homeless man was arrested after protesters at Occupy Albuquerque said the man pulled out a filet knife and tried to attack. When police arrived on the scene the man refused to obey the officers commands and had to be subsequently tasered. He has been booked on aggravated assault charges.
A New Jersey barber was attacked by a man after refusing to cut the man’s hair. Dennis Guillen, the victim, was working late at the barber shop where he cuts hair when a man knocks on the door. After Guillen opens the door he tells the man he can not cut his hair. That’s when the attacker slashes Guillen’s face and runs off.
A 19 year-old Bowie State University student was charged with stabbing her roommate to death after the two argued over an iPod. Alexis D. Simpson turned herself just after midnight after Dominique T. Frazier, 18, was found in a hallway of her dorm, unconscious and bleeding. Frazier died an hour later.
